The Opening Ceremony which started at 7:00pm and preceeded the Australia vs Trinidad match, was indeed a high energy and well choreographed set, showcasing the culture and history of Australia and the game of Netball and featured the parade of participating countries.   INF President, Jamaica's own the Honourable Molly Rhone, OJ delivered a stirring address which was well received by those in attendance.
All the pre-tournament butterflies have had a chance to settle down and the Girls will now turn their attention to long time rivals England in their next game tomorrow.  Jamaica has won 3 of the last 4 meetings between the 2 teams including 2 of 3 in Jamaica in January 2015, as well as for the bronze medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
